1. I am grateful that my mother is trying to hard to come to my son's choir concert. She is very good about coming to watch my son in everything he does! I don't think anyone expects her to come to every single thing, especially since she lives quite far from us. So I'm grateful that she is trying so hard to come to his last choir concert.
2. I am so grateful that my son is coming with us to the cabin. I thought this would be the most fun summer ever, with him being done with school and not having any conflicts. Well, it turns out he has a lot of conflicts because he is doing wonderful things! So I am so grateful that he makes it a priority to spend time with us as a family. I'm really lucky.
3. I'm grateful that my spouse and I have the same sense of humor. It's so wonderful that we always like the same shows and get the same jokes! Well, not always I guess, but for the most part. It's really nice to live with someone (well, actually 2 people, my son as well) with such a great sense of humor and a similar sense of humor to mine.
4. I'm really grateful for my job. Sometimes I complain because it is temporary, but I am glad to be working. I haven't forgotten how difficult it is to be out of work. I am grateful to be working for no matter how long it is for, and I am grateful that there are excellent opportunities out there for me to apply to as well!
5. I'm grateful for the Prius. It's wonderful to have such a reliable car with such amazing gas mileage. Plus, the gas mileage keeps getting better, for some reason! So that's pretty wonderful also.
